Golf is a hard game to master, but easy to follow. However, Hollywood hasn't really given audiences a good movie about the sport In fact, most of the time, the films that are produced are not that very well-received. Enter “Caddyshack”, a 1980 film that takes a humorous look at the spot and makes it very enjoyable to watch. With its memorable cast and wonderful nostalgic value, the movie both parodies and pokes fun at what happens on and off the golf course. Though there are some minor issues with the film, it is still incredibly fun to watch. “Caddyshack” will appeal to professional golfers as well as people wanting a good laugh by having a good time and feeling all right. The story has a young man named Danny (Michael O'Keefe), who wants nothing more than to go to college and get an education. Yet, he's undecided. Danny is working at a private club to get his tuition fee under way. At this particular club, there are certain members who have a distinct personality...

Halloween is a typical holiday where things tend to be a bit on the scary side. Then there's the Day of the Dead, a Mexican holiday similar to Halloween, but with a more remembrance and focus on those who are gone from the world. And Hollywood is known for releasing films that are focused on Halloween; not so much on the Day of the Dead. Enter “The Book of Life”, a great animated film that is perfect for the season. We need more films like this, and hopefully, in the wake (no pun intended) of this movie's release, we will see more soon. Though the film does haves some issues, they are minor to say the least. “The Book of Life” is an extraordinary animated film that will hopefully gain younger audiences to learn more about the holiday known as the Day of the Dead. In 1940, Hollywood made a movie called “The Philadelphia Story”, based off a successful Broadway play. It was a romantic comedy and became a huge success for Hollywood. Then, nearly 16 years later in 1956, Hollywood remade this comedy as a musical entitled “High Society”. What we get here is a rather unique film containing catchy songs, and an overall fun experience. With a cast that includes Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly (in her final film before she married the prince of Monaco), and Frank Sinatra deliver good performances in this romantic musical comedy. While the movie does feel a bit slow at certain moments and the story is predictable, “High Society” is not a bad film as there is a lot of enjoyment while watching it. It's a movie that will keep you humming its tunes for the next several days. The plot has C. K. Elton John may be one of the greatest rock and roll stars of all time. But we do not know the actual person behind many classic songs. That's where the film “Rocketman” comes into play. This film is a musical fantasy about Elton's life right up to his time in rehabilitation. However, while the film is good, there is a lot of problems concerning its production. Mostly due to the fact that there is a lot historical issues within the film that are left out. “Rocketman” is certainly an interesting look at a a great musician, but sort of squanders around the facts. The story follows rock star Elton John (Taron Egerton) from his early days to becoming a huge figure in the music industry. Along the way, he encounters highs and lows from sexual adventures from his manager, and taking part in a wide assortment of drugs. Walt Disney strived to create some of the best content when concerning animation. He stunned audience's ears with 1928's “Steamboat Willie” becoming the first ever cartoon with synchronized sound. He defied the movie industry with the first ever feature length animated movie: “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” in 1937. And in 1940, Disney did it again with two features: “Pinocchio” and “Fantasia”. And while “Pinocchio” may have been given appeal to families, “Fantasia” appeals to everyone. While it may not have been a huge success during Walt's time, in more recent years, the movie has gained quite a bit of attention, mostly in part due to the artistry that went into making the film a reality. Since its inception, “Fantasia” has been regarded as Walt Disney's masterpiece; a very notable fact. In 1940, Walt Disney released a movie entitled “Fantasia”. With this film, Walt Disney's animators combined simplistic art with that of classical music, and it worked beautifully. And even though Walt wanted to continue this idea even further, “Fantasia” unfortunately flopped at the box office, thank in part due to World War II. It wouldn't be for another 60 years until a proper continuation for “Fantasia” came around, that ultimately resulted in “Fantasia 2000”, which was generally received with mixed reception. But unbeknownst to the general public, there was another film that combined animation with classical music. And that film was 1976's “Allegro Non Troppo”, and Italian version of “Fantasia”.
